Best Advice - Insurance and Options No. 26   In the most part, signs are flat or rolled up. This makes insurance a viable option. Because signs are long thin skinny things, they may be damaged during any type of transit. We have tried lots of postal services however it is not a worthwhile transaction in the most part so transport companies with trucks, courier utilities and vans are used. Unless requested by a customer, the package is not packed for rainy conditions. We cover signs with a heavy duty cardboard to prevent bending and breaking, if you need a watertight package, please let us know pre quote. E.g.
